EPD certification and LCA study

DI.MA. has chosen to certify the quality of its environmental compliance through the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), a voluntary certification that describes the Life Cycle of products in terms of environmental impact, in accordance with the International Standard ISO 14025 and the technical standard EN 15804.

This certification has been validated by an independent body that guarantees the authenticity of the LCA study and the subsequent Environmental Product Declaration.

The Environmental Product Declaration must be preceded by a study, which is,  in turn, followed by an analysis, the LCA – Life Cycle Assessment. The latter quantitatively determines the degree of raw material consumption and the environmental impact of the product’s entire life cycle.
